Hans Tirath

Shri Jagat Janani Mataji in her life time wanted to construct Shri Hans Tirath in his sacred memory. To start with she commissioned the construction of an exquisite shrine, entirely of white marble, on the site of his cremation. An octagonal - shaped Holy Shrine or Samadhi encircled by a marble pathway for parikrama was erected. Elegant columns with marble carving supported a dome - shaped roof. The shrine contained a life - size statue of Shri Hans Ji Maharaj Ji, seated in meditation.

But now in its place a marvellous temple has been constructed as Shri Hans Tirath. The temple is situated on bank of the Ganges and is decorated with nine pyramidical domes on external facade. Interior of temple is decorated with 32 small and large domes. Flooring intricately designed with marble inlaid pattern with white, Udaipur green, Jaisalmer yellow and red marble.

The walls also are cladded with marble which has inlaid flower border and the panels are upto window height. The idols of Shri Hans ji Maharaj and Jagat Janani Shri Mata Ji, his divine consort are placed in the center with highest pyramidical dome. The temple has various wide passages on all four sides to give wider space and also for open look and darshan of the idols.

Also a holy shrine in the memory of Shri Jagat Janani Mata Ji who showered blessings to lakhs of devotees is constructed with white marble in Shri Hans Tirath Mandir which is a symbol of love, harmony and peace. The Holy Shrine is also encircled by a marble pathway. The Mandir exudes the grandeur and finesse in its architecture.

The Mandir's serene atmosphere helps in meditating peacefully. The reverberation of bells as well as holy prayers, chantings, spiritual songs and hymns make the aura of the Mandir more divine and is considered to be the best place for performing spiritual practices. Also it does not belong to any particular religion or section and preaches oneness.

Every year during major Spiritual Programs that are organised in Shri Prem Nagar Ashram for ocassions like Baisakhi Mahotsav and Birthday celebrations of Shri Guru Maharaj Ji lakhs of devotees visit Shri Hans Tirath Mandir to take the pleasure of darshan of the Idols. This Mandir holds the importance of a divine piligrimage for all the devotees and tourists.
